Dad’s Father’s Day Painting

A few year’s ago, I painted a portrait of my mother-in-law that was displayed at her funeral. This year for Father’s Day, I gave my father-in-law a painting from his Airforce days as a pilot next to his plane. It was well-received and he will be able to enjoy it for years to come.

OPA Honorable Mention

My oil painting, Drying the Sails in Kennebunkport was awarded an Honorable Mention at the Oil Painters of America 27th National Juried Exhibition. This is significant to me because it was in the Impressionist category and there are 215 paintings in this current exhibition.
