Living less than 10 miles from Napa has benefits. This time of year, the residual grapes gives the air an inviting, unique aroma. The vineyard leaves are just starting to turn autumn colors. The temperature is perfect for plein air painting. Plus, there are numerous worthy scenes to memorialize like this barn near Oakville. I enjoy painting with fellow artists.
